Why a PST differs from loose email files
The mailbox container may preserve folders and relationships that are not obvious after individual export. That structure can matter to technical organisation.
A PST may be inaccessible, damaged, encrypted or tool-dependent. Limitations are recorded without promising recovery or forensic conclusions.

Do not split a structured mailbox to bypass intake limits
The standard initial online threshold is 500 MB, but size is not the only factor. A complete PST, mailbox export, forensic-style folder tree or structured corporate collection may use encrypted physical media even near or below that threshold.
Customers are not asked to divide one PST artificially. Available metadata and attachments can be organised into working review material without asserting authenticity or legal treatment.
