Secure online intake may be available after a production case is activated.
A clear customer journey
How Disclosure Assist Works
Move from document overload to a scoped, source-aware working handover through a transparent sequence of estimate, review, activation, organisation and approval.
The portal, checkout, evidence intake and automated assistant described here are planned production capabilities, not live features of this public prototype.
Encrypted media instructions may be provided instead of artificial file splitting.
Tracked delivery and separate password communication are part of the designed workflow.
Before activation
Start with scope, not evidence
Use the public estimator to describe the size, source types, selected service modules and deadline without uploading documents or pasting sensitive facts. The range is indicative, not a fixed quote.
An initial review then confirms the exact requested modules, constraints, capacity, intake route and versioned initial scope before paid work begins.
Evidence intake design
Transfer method follows the shape of the dataset
For a future activated case, manageable initial evidence up to the configured 500 MB threshold may be eligible for authenticated online intake. Supported individual files may be supplied directly, and ZIP is recommended—but not mandatory—for multiple files or structured folders.
Initial evidence above 500 MB, complete PST mailboxes and other structured or source-sensitive datasets may use encrypted physical media. One initial set must not be split artificially to bypass the threshold, and transfer method does not automatically determine workload price.
During the work
Processing remains source-aware and decisions remain attributable
Documents and messages are inventoried, organised and related to their supplied sources. Working copies and proposed relationships remain distinct from original material.
Where the work reaches a customer or legal decision, the planned portal uses Decisions & Approvals so the authorised answer and later changes remain traceable. Disclosure Assist does not make the legal decision.
Completion
Final authorised work is handed over securely
Case progress, the accepted scope version, authorised scope changes and invoices are intended to remain visible through the planned case environment. Supplemental evidence does not silently add unselected modules; material changes require a revised estimate and approval.
After final payment, the designed standard handover is an encrypted USB sent using tracked delivery. Password or access details are supplied separately.
Customer journey
A clear sequence from enquiry to handover
- 01
Tell us about your project
Describe volume, source types, required outputs and deadline without sending evidence.
- 02
Get an estimated workload
Receive an indicative hour and cost range or a manual-review result.
- 03
Request initial review
Submit non-sensitive scoping details through the public prototype form.
- 04
Confirm scope
Agree the exact service modules, scope version, constraints, capacity, cost model and intake route.
- 05
Pay and activate your case
In production, successful payment is intended to trigger case activation once.
- 06
Receive CaseID and portal access
The planned production portal provides case-specific authenticated access.
- 07
Provide evidence
Use the agreed online or encrypted physical-media route after activation.
- 08
We organise and process
Sources, working copies, relationships and limitations remain traceable.
- 09
Complete Decisions & Approvals
Answer controlled customer or legal questions where required.
- 10
Review progress and invoices
The planned portal is designed to show status, scope and billing state.
- 11
Make final payment
Final authorised work is invoiced under the agreed charging model.
- 12
Encrypted USB prepared
The agreed final working output is prepared on encrypted media.
- 13
Tracked delivery
Dispatch and delivery status form part of the planned handover workflow.
- 14
Password supplied separately
Access details never travel on the USB, packaging or tracking message.
Practical answers
Frequently asked questions
Process questions
What happens before files are sent?
The estimator and initial review establish the shape of the work, proposed scope and appropriate intake method without collecting evidence publicly.
Is the estimate final?
No. It is indicative. Initial scope is confirmed before activation and material changes require further approval.
Will I need to answer questions?
Sometimes. Legal, protection and customer choices remain for the authorised customer and/or adviser through Decisions & Approvals.
Is the customer portal live?
No. The public site currently shows a prototype; production portal, payment and storage remain future implementation.
