Evidence organisation

Organise Your Documents and Evidence for Court

Move from scattered folders and hard-to-follow filenames to a neutral working index with sources, dates, versions and unanswered questions kept visible.

For people and small organisations overwhelmed by the practical task of organising evidence.

What the service does

Create order without changing what the evidence is

Evidence often arrives as downloads folders, screenshots, repeated PDFs, message exports, scans and spreadsheets with little consistent naming.

Disclosure Assist provides the organisation layer. It inventories material, creates a working structure and links descriptions to sources without making claims about truth, credibility or merits.

01

Mixed-file indexing

Organise PDFs, letters, office files, scans, images and message exports in one register.

02

Neutral descriptions

Use available source information without turning labels into legal conclusions.

03

Date and source links

Attribute known dates and preserve uncertainty where records conflict.

04

Review-ready outputs

Create an index, chronology candidate set or agreed working bundle structure.

What can go into the working index

A working index can bring together different formats while keeping each source visible. The purpose is practical access and review, not alteration of original evidence.

Image-only files and poor scans can be flagged. Unsupported dates, identities or relationships are not inferred.

  • PDFs, scans and letters
  • Emails and message exports
  • Photos and screenshots
  • Spreadsheets, invoices and reports
  • Folders with multiple versions

Preserve sources and choose one controlled intake plan

Original sources stay distinct from renamed or converted working copies. Duplicate detection does not erase the fact that a record appeared in several locations.

Individual supported files may be supplied to an agreed future portal; ZIP is recommended but not mandatory for folders. Initial sets above 500 MB use encrypted physical media and should not be split to bypass the limit.

Clear service boundary

An organised index does not decide the case

Disclosure Assist can organise and describe supplied material for review. We do not decide credibility, truth, admissibility, liability, causation or final legal relevance, and do not guarantee court acceptance.

Disclosure Assist provides technical and administrative document support. We are not a solicitors' firm and do not provide legal advice or legal representation.

Practical questions

Frequently asked questions

Where do I start with hundreds of files?

Start with approximate counts, formats, sources and total data size. The estimator requires no evidence.

Will you rename my original files?

Original sources remain distinct. Working copies may use clearer names with a reference back to the source.

Can photos and screenshots be indexed?

Yes. Available dates and context can be recorded while uncertainty remains flagged.

Will the index prove my case?

No. It is a practical working tool and makes no credibility, causation, liability or outcome finding.

Can I send evidence through the enquiry form?

No. Active projects receive the agreed secure intake arrangements after scope and payment.
